Personal Income Tax Return: File your taxes by April 30

As a part of tax preparation services, we collect personal and financial information necessary to prepare your Canadian T1 income tax return, including:
Name, address, and Social Insurance Number (SIN).
T-slips, receipts, and records of income/expenses.
Information accessed via the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) "Represent a Client" portal (RepID).
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used exclusively to:
Prepare and EFILE your tax return.
Resolve filing queries with the CRA.
Communicate regarding your tax file and billing.
3. Data Retention and Security
No Original Retention: We do not retain original receipts; the Client must maintain these for six years.
Digital Security: We use EFILE certified tax preparation software, which employs industry-standard encryption to protect your data during transmission and storage.
4. Third-Party Disclosure
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties, except as required to file your return with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
5. Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada (including PIPEDA).
